About us

Audify Books started a few years ago as a website for audiobooks. Today we are a small independent studio in India building apps, games and AI products.

We use Claude from Anthropic to design, build and ship faster, and we are rebuilding our audiobook library for a new generation of listeners.

Audify Books is an independent studio based in India. This policy explains what data is used on our website, audifybooks.com, and in our Android game Fort Defence (package com.fortdefense.game). If you have questions, write to hello@audifybooks.com.

Our website

  • You do not need an account to use the site or listen to our audiobooks.
  • The audiobook player saves your last chapter and position in your own browser (local storage) so you can resume. This stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can clear it in your browser settings.
  • Our web host, Hostinger, may keep standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and secure the site.
  • The site loads fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google when the page loads.

Fort Defence

  • Ads. The game shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob and its partners may collect and use device and usage information, such as your advertising ID, IP address, device model, operating system and how you interact with ads, to serve ads, measure performance and prevent fraud. See how Google uses data from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Purchases. In-app purchases are handled by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment details.
  • Our own data collection. We do not ask you to create an account and we do not ask for your name, email address or phone number inside the game.

Your choices

  • On Android, you can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalisation in Settings, under Google, then Ads.
  • You can uninstall the game at any time, which stops all data collection by the app.
  • You can ask us what data we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing us. Because we collect very little ourselves, this is usually limited to emails you have sent us.

Children

Our website and games are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this section. Continued use of the site or game after a change means you accept the updated policy.
